The Shell That Holds You

Im good at many things but I don't stand out
I plant my feet but I don't stand my ground

I open my mouth but I'm too scared to speak

I spread my wings but am afraid to leap

I am the shell of every human being

I bring depression that scolds you

anger that loathes you

and fear that holds you

I am the shell that molds you

when you're too scared to escape you live here with me

too afraid to live life

you're no longer living

you're waiting for death

Life's but a game

If life was a game you'd have all the cheats

 but I know the best combos and I'll still have you beat.

 In games like this you cant win. 

You're so focused on the score that you forget what its for.

Life is but a dream but yours is more like a nightmare. 

You act like your problems are the worst that's out there. 

You wish for death over high school stress.

 You can't go on after he left. 

You don't feel important

You feel ignored

You don't think you're perfect

 All in the eyes of those who don't deserve it
You leave to them to decide if you're worth it. 

In the end no one is. 

We live for ourselves, naturally selfish, but that's not the problem. 

We waste our time trying to fit in, to be liked, to be noticed, to be perfect, but that's not our purpose.

 Your life's about you, and mine about me, 

it doesn't matter if you lie, cheat, steal, or fuck it's your life and your mind no one else can touch. 

Make your life fun for you, do whatever you like to do, keep your morals, speak your mind, stand your ground, learn to fly, be who you want, it's up to you. 

Do what you want but do it for you.

it's people like you

people so loud and rude and so self absorbed

People like you who make me crave the sounds of nails on chalkboard or metal on glass

over the noise that leaves your mouth

People like you who says anything regardless as to your audience

you have no filter and on top of that youre not smart

The words that you speak have no meaning they just float to the top like... 

a dead fish
